The territorial bodies of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan continue to take appropriate enforcement measures in response to violations identified through monitoring conducted in the field of public procurement and the examination of incoming appeals.

Andijan Region
- Andijan Regional Children’s Phthisiology Hospital – 1 procurement worth UZS 500 million;
- Bo‘ston District Medical Association – 3 procurements worth approximately UZS 1.2 billion.
Bukhara Region
- Kogon District State Institution for Road Maintenance – 2 procurements worth approximately UZS 260 million.
Republic of Karakalpakstan
- Nukus City Kurash Skills School under the Ministry of Sports – 1 procurement worth UZS 530 million;
- Administration of Pumping Stations and Energy of the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1 procurement worth UZS 900 million.
Fergana Region
- Rishton District Branch of the Mahalla Association of Uzbekistan – 15 procurements worth approximately UZS 300 million.
Jizzakh Region
- Arnasay District Water Supply Service – 4 procurements worth approximately UZS 400 million;
- Jizzakh Regional Department of Veterinary and Livestock Development – 2 procurements worth approximately UZS 300 million;
- Jizzakh Regional Department of Agriculture – 5 procurements worth more than UZS 50 million;
- Bakhmal District Hokimiyat – 2 procurements worth more than UZS 200 million;
- Zarbdor District Improvement Department – 1 procurement worth UZS 110 million;
- G‘allaorol District Medical Association – 1 procurement worth approximately UZS 400 million;
- Southern Mirzacho‘l Main Canal Administration – 10 procurements worth approximately UZS 900 million;
- Academic Lyceum under Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute – 1 procurement worth UZS 750 million.
Namangan Region

Samarkand Region
- Oqdaryo District Branch of the Mahalla Association of Uzbekistan – 2 procurements worth approximately UZS 800 million;
- Kattaqo‘rg‘on District Improvement Department – 1 procurement worth approximately UZS 200 million;
- “Samarkand International Airport” LLC – 1 procurement worth more than UZS 1 billion.
Syrdarya Region
- Syrdarya Regional Branch of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan – 2 procurements worth UZS 430 million.
Khorezm Region
- Administration of Pumping Stations and Energy under the Chapqirg‘oq Amudarya Basin Irrigation Systems Administration – 45 procurements worth approximately UZS 1.3 billion;
- Urganch District Medical Association – 1 procurement worth approximately UZS 50 million.
Tashkent Region
- Tashkent Specialized State Forestry for Seedling Production – 3 procurements worth UZS 380 million;
- Saksonota State Forest Production Enterprise – 2 procurements worth more than UZS 1.3 billion.
Tashkent City
- JSCB “Mikrokreditbank” – 2 procurements worth approximately UZS 2.8 billion.
As a result of the examination of the best proposal selection procurement procedures, it was established that the requirements of Article 29 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Competition” had not been complied with, namely, actions restricting competition or likely to result in the restriction of competition during procurement procedures were identified.
Accordingly, the Special Commissions of the territorial departments of the Committee initiated cases against the procuring entities based on signs of violations of the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Competition”, and appropriate enforcement measures were applied in accordance with the established procedure following the consideration of these cases.
In addition, mandatory instructions were issued to eliminate the identified violations and prevent such cases from recurring in the future.
Ensuring the rule of law in the field of public procurement and creating equal competitive conditions for all participants are among the priority tasks of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Preventing the identified violations contributes to the efficient and transparent use of public funds, while also serving to create an open and fair competitive environment for entrepreneurs.
