As part of the Committee’s participation in the 24th Annual Conference of the International Competition Network (ICN), a bilateral meeting was held with Dr. Hakan BİLİR, Deputy Head of the Turkish Competition Authority.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the previous visit of the Uzbek delegation to Turkey and outlined further steps to deepen bilateral cooperation.
A visit of Turkish experts to Uzbekistan is expected in the coming month, aimed at exchanging experience in conducting anti-monopoly investigations.
The parties also discussed prospects for conducting joint cross-border cartel investigations in markets of mutual interest to both countries.
