Within the framework of the 25th Annual Conference of the International Competition Network – ICN Annual Conference 2026, currently taking place in Manila, Philippines, Chairman of the Committee Khalilillo Turakhujaev held a meeting with Andrea Marván Saltiel, Chair of the International Competition Network (ICN) and President of the National Antitrust Commission (CNA).
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation with the ICN, expansion of international engagement, and strengthening the institutional capacity of competition authorities.
Particular attention was devoted to the exchange of international experience and support for initiatives aimed at advancing competition policy in developing countries.
In addition, the Chairman invited a representative of the CNA to participate as a speaker at the upcoming international conference to be held in Tashkent in June this year. In turn, the Head of the CNA expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation and participating in the forthcoming conference.
The parties also discussed the prospects of hosting one of the future ICN Annual Conferences in Uzbekistan in 2028 or 2029.
