As a result of monitoring carried out by the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, cases of violations of advertising legislation requirements were identified.
In particular, it was revealed that an advertisement with the content “Forsil – pain disappears without a trace” was distributed on social networks.
According to the findings of the study conducted on this matter, these advertising materials were found to contradict the requirement set forth in Part 1 of Article 35 of the Law “On Advertising.” In accordance with this provision, advertisements for biologically active supplements must not create the impression that they have therapeutic properties.
Based on the above circumstances, the Special Commission of the Committee initiated a case against “NIKA FARM” LLC for violation of the relevant provisions of the Law “On Advertising” and, following the review of the case, decided to impose a financial penalty.
In addition, an instruction was issued to eliminate the violation and to prevent similar cases in the future.
