From May 7 to 9, 2025, the 24th Annual Conference of the International Competition Network (ICN) is taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) of the United Kingdom is responsible for organizing the event.
The ICN is an international forum that brings together competition authorities from around the world to exchange experience, develop harmonized approaches to competition policy, and strengthen cooperation in the field of antitrust regulation. The ICN’s annual conference provides a platform for open dialogue, idea exchange, and the sharing of best practices, all of which contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of competition enforcement in the interest of consumers and fair business practices.
Key topics of the 2025 conference include the role of competition in driving economic growth, the impact of technological developments on the work of competition authorities, and the strengthening of international cooperation in the face of global challenges.
The delegation led by the Chairman of the Competition Committee, Khalilillo Turakhujaev, is participating in the conference.
During the conference, the delegation plans to hold meetings and negotiations with heads of antitrust agencies from various countries. These interactions provide valuable opportunities to expand international cooperation, exchange expertise, and adopt advanced approaches to the development of competition policy in Uzbekistan.
