On June 11-13 of this year, a delegation led by the leadership of the Competition Committee participated in the 3rd meeting of the heads of competition authorities of the member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha, Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by the leadership of the competition authorities of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and Northern Cyprus.
This meeting is an international platform aimed at expanding cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and is intended to serve to discuss issues of mutual interest among participants, promote healthy competition, and protect consumer rights.
Committee Chairman Halilillo Turakhujaev spoke at the 3rd meeting of the heads of competition authorities of the OTS member and observer states, as well as at panel discussions within the framework of the event, and provided information on the large-scale economic transformation and measures implemented in recent years under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the field of developing a competitive environment in New Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the events, a Communiqué was signed following the 3rd meeting of the heads of competition authorities of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which will serve to strengthen cooperation between the competition authorities of our fraternal countries and further improve the competitive environment.
