As you are aware, violations involving the application of trade markups on medicines above the established limits are identified within the tax authorities’ system, and a notification mechanism has been established to transmit such information to the Committee’s unified information system “Fair Tech.”
During the second quarter of 2026, measures are being taken in accordance with the established procedures based on notifications received through the Committee’s “Fair Tech” unified information system. In particular,
237 pharmacies (33 wholesale and 204 retail) were found to have committed 148,810 violations, resulting in UZS 1.9 billion in unjustified revenue. Recalculations were carried out in favor of consumers, and measures were taken to restore the rights of an unspecified group of consumers.
The Committee will continue its work in this area. Measures against pharmacies that violate legal requirements will continue, and the list of such pharmacies will be published openly.
