On October 14, 2024, the delegation of the Uzbekistan Competition Committee concluded its visits in Germany. The final meeting took place in Munich with the Executive Director of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Professor Josef Drexl.
The Max Planck Society comprises over 80 scientific institutes and research centers, including the Institute for Innovation and Competition. A total of 31 Nobel laureates have been scientific members of the Max Planck Society. The Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition is one of the world’s leading research centers, known for its studies on innovation and competition.
During the meeting, the delegation explored the institute’s experience in analyzing goods, financial and digital markets, as well as developing innovative approaches. Additionally, discussions covered the organization of training seminars, improving the qualifications of the Committee’s staff, and opportunities for master’s and PhD programs. Professor Drexl gifted the Committee’s library with the first copies of new scientific research books.
This visit contributed to strengthening scientific cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan in the fields of science and competition.
