Republic of Karakalpakstan
Based on a complaint received by the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the procurement process conducted by the Konlikul District Medical Association was reviewed. It was established that violations had occurred in the public procurement worth 250 million soums organized by the Customer.
Accordingly, the Committee initiated a case against the Konlikul District Medical Association and issued an instruction to cancel the procurement. In addition, information regarding administrative measures against responsible officials was forwarded to the judicial authorities.
Samarkand Region
During the review of the public procurement conducted by Paxtachi District Vocational School No. 1 for the purchase of nearly 70 million soums worth of construction materials, the Regional Department identified violations of the requirements of the Law “On Competition.”
As a result, the Special Commission declared the procurement invalid and issued a binding instruction to prevent such violations in the future. Information on administrative measures against responsible officials was also sent to the judicial authorities.
Tashkent Region
The Regional Department carried out an inspection of the procurement organized by “MEGA TEX MADINABONU” LLC for the provision of comprehensive hot meal services at the Chinaz District Medical Association, with an initial price of nearly 1.2 billion soums.
The review revealed violations, including actions that restrict or could potentially restrict competition, as well as breaches of procedures established by law for conducting procurement.
Consequently, the Special Commission initiated a case against the Chinaz District Medical Association and issued a binding instruction. Additionally, information concerning administrative measures against responsible officials was submitted to the judicial authorities.
Tashkent City
Based on a complaint filed by “Monument Stroy” LLC, the Regional Department reviewed the procurement organized by the Kamoliddin Behzod National Institute of Art and Design, with an initial price exceeding 971 million soums.
The review established that violations of legislative requirements had occurred during the procurement process. As a result, a case was initiated against the Customer. The Special Commission issued the relevant decision and instruction, and information regarding administrative measures against the responsible officials was forwarded to the judicial authorities.
