This international forum was attended by leaders, officials, experts and professionals from antimonopoly committees, enterprises and international organizations such as the European Union (EU), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Competitive Network (ICN), World Bank (WB), Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In return, the First Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee A. Kayumov and responsible officer O. Shoyimov participated in the Forum at the invitation of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On October 7, the second day of the forum, a number of events took place. Among them, an academic seminar on topic “The impact of globalization on the development of competition and digital markets” held at KIMEP University in Almaty organized by the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Center, jointly with the Eurasian Branch of the ASCOLA organization. This seminar was attended by professors from prestigious international universities, specialists of the Center and officials of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the seminar, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, A. Kayumov, made a report on the major reforms and work on digitalization, ensuring competition in digital markets carried out by our country and the Committee in recent years.
