From June 5-9, 2023, in the city of Yerevan (Republic of Armenia), a seminar is being held on the topic “Quality of Services of the Partnership of Energy Regulators of Central Asia”.This workshop is organized within the framework of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Energy Regulatory Partnership Project in Central Asia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC).
In this seminar, which was held by international experts and representatives of NARUC, as well as the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC), participated senior officials of the Competition promotion and consumer protection committee, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republics Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
This seminar will serve to improve knowledge of service quality standards and comparison with benchmarks, which will allow for more transparent and active cooperation with regulated companies, contributing to the formation of a fruitful investment environment.
