On October 10–11, within the framework of the international conference on competition policy, Chairman of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee Khalilillo Turakhujaev received the delegation led by Mr. Cengiz Çolak Vice-President of the Turkish Competition Authority.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the regulation of digital platforms in accordance with competition legislation. They also reached an agreement to further expand cooperation between the competition authorities of Turkey and Uzbekistan, exchange practical experience, and organize joint seminars and training sessions in the future.
Chairman Kh.Turakhodjaev expressed gratitude to the Turkish colleagues for their practical assistance and shared experience, emphasizing that the bilateral relations would open up new opportunities in the field of competition policy.
As part of these events, it is also planned to conduct training seminars for the Committee’s staff with the participation of experts from the Turkish Competition Authority.
