From October 20 to 23, 2025, the city of Brest, Republic of Belarus, hosted the 59th Meeting of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy (ICAP) of the CIS member states and the 45th Meeting of the Joint Task Force on Investigating Violations of Antimonopoly Legislation, attended by a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On October 22, during the 59th ICAP Meeting, the Chairman of the Competition Committee Mr. Halilillo Turakhujaev delivered a presentation highlighting key reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in the areas of competition development and consumer protection, as well as recent innovations and legislative amendments introduced to enhance market regulation and transparency.
The meetings served as an important platform for strengthening cooperation in the field of competition policy and antimonopoly regulation, facilitating the exchange of experience and best practices, and identifying new opportunities for future collaboration.
