On January 29, 2026, in Tashkent, the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee, the Commissioner for Protection of Rights and Legitimate Interests of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Chamber of commerce and industry of Uzbekistan jointly held an international conference entitled “Preventing Unlawful Interference
of State Authorities in Entrepreneurial Activity.”
The international conference brought together experts from leading international organizations, including the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), as well as representatives of government bodies, business entities, civil society institutions, and research and academic circles.
