The Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan is consistently implementing measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of business entities.
In particular, an entrepreneur engaged in hotel activities in Navoi Region filed a complaint with the Committee regarding a penalty charged by “Hududgazta’minot” JSC and its “Hududgaz Navoiy” gas supply branch, which was deemed unjustified.
Following the complaint, the Committee conducted a review and took the necessary measures. As a result, the unjustified penalty of nearly 68 million soums imposed on the entrepreneur was reconsidered in the special electronic system of “Hududgazta’minot” JSC and was canceled.
Through this decision, the legitimate interests of the business entity were restored, and an unfair situation in the gas supply sector was eliminated.
The Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue its consistent efforts to protect the interests of entrepreneurs and to promote the development of a transparent and fair market environment.
