On September 13-15 this year, the Central Asian Forum in the Field of Clean Energy began in Almaty (Kazakhstan). It is attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The participating countries of the forum plan to consider issues of reducing carbon emissions by their energy systems and adapting them to climate change.
Representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee B.Ummatov are taking part in the international forum from Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that due to serious changes in the regional and global energy sector, the Central Asian Clean Energy Forum is designed to bring together politicians, leaders of utilities, representatives of leading technology companies and international investors to discuss issues on energy strategy, new clean energy technologies and investments.
