The territorial office of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Navoiy region received an appeal from a citizen
In this appeal, the consumer turned to AVTOSEL KONSULT GRANT LLC in order to obtain a car on credit on the secondary market in October 2023.
After that, Kapitalbank of Navoi provided a loan to the applicant in the amount of 65,000,000 UZS, transferring the amount to the account of AVTOSEL KONSULT GRANT LLC. However, due to the fact that AVTOSEL KONSULT GRANT LLC did not transfer the credit funds allocated to the citizen to the seller’s card, the vehicle was not issued and transferred to the applicant.
According to Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Consumer Rights Protection”, the contractor is obliged to perform (provide services) on time, volume and quality established by the rules for performing certain types of work (rendering certain types of services) or by contract.
As a result of the work carried out by the employees of the territorial office, a car was issued in the name of the applicant and 65,000,000 UZS were paid to the owner.
