On October 19, 2025, a meeting was held in Minsk within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, Mr. Elmurat Khaitmetov, Head of the Consumer Rights Protection Department of the Committee, and Ms. Zhanna Kuchevskaya, Head of the Consumer Rights Protection Division of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, shared insights on ongoing initiatives, key challenges, and recent reforms in the field of consumer protection. The discussion also focused on enhancing cooperation and experience exchange in safeguarding consumer rights within digital platforms and online marketplaces.
The Committee’s delegation is also taking part in the 59th Meeting of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy and the 45th Meeting of the Joint Task Force on Investigating Violations of Antimonopoly Legislation of CIS Member States, both held in Belarus. The Committee expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry for their cooperation and support in organizing the meeting.
