On August 22, 2023, during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Azerbaijan, 15 documents were adopted at the state and department level of two countries.
Among them, an agreement was reached between the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economyof the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to agreement, mutual cooperation has been established in the following areas:
– legal protection of competition;
– control over the consumer market;
– protection of the rights and interests of consumers;
– regulation of the advertising market;
– control of safety and quality of goods (works, services) and many others.
