The Antimonopoly Committee conducted a study of the market for transportation services, placement and storage of vehicles detained for violating the law on the territory of the republic.
So, today there are 296 business entities operating in the country, providing services in this direction.
The study showed that in some regions, on average, 10% of the funds received on the accounts of economic entities that have created penalty areas for storing vehicles are unreasonably credited to the accounts of regional road safety departments.
As a result, the sum of 400 million soums unjustifiably collected from business entities over the past 3 years were returned to them.
It also turned out that more than 50% of the penalty areas designed for the storage of vehicles and created in the regions do not fully comply with the requirements of the current legislation.
In order to create equal competitive conditions in the market and ensure their openness, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimyats of regions and the city of Tashkent were given instructions on the selection of economic entities that provide services for the transportation, placement and storage of vehicles detained for violating the law, exclusively based on the results of competitive bidding. organized and conducted within the framework of the legal requirements.
