Representatives of the Competition promotion and consumer protection committee are participating in an international pilot exchange program organized by The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Seoul, Republic of Korea, that will last from May 21 to June 3 of this year.
Together with Uzbekistan, representatives of the states of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are also participating in this program, which is called “Competition legislation and development of the market economy”.
The main goal of this program is to further develop the competition legislation and the market economy of the participating countries on the basis of mutual experience exchanges and effective cooperation, in particular, to acquaint the representatives of the participating countries with the advanced experience of the Republic of Korea, achievements in the field and help them effectively introduce the successful experience of Korea.
In the first two days of this international program, representatives of the Committee organized presentations on economic achievements of the Republic of Uzbekistan, competition legislation for other participants of the program, and within the framework of these presentations, participants were given detailed reports on the work done in the country so far in the above-mentioned areas, the achievements and the problems
At the end of the presentation, the achievements of representatives of other participating states were recognized and expressed high interest in new projects introduced by the Committee.
