The Competition promotion and consumer protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan received an appeal from Kumush Kuz Fayzi LLC, operating in the Yakkabog district of Kashkadarya region.
This appeal states that “Kumush kuz fayzi” LLC delivered “combined feed” (GNG code 23099096) for bird feed by rail from Russia using the service of “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari” JSC, but in the process of cargo clearance when calculating the service fee for the carriage of goods by rail, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4015 dated November 15, 2018, the benefits were not applied in full, as a result, the costs of rail transportation were not paid in full, that is, the benefit was not used for transportation costs from the Tashkent railway station to the Yakkabog railway station, and that the appealing organization is asking for practical assistance in applying these benefits.
The Competition promotion and consumer protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the territorial administration of the Kashkadarya region, investigated the case on the basis of information received from “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari” JSC at the request of the Committee.
In order to support entrepreneurs and create convenience in the transportation of goods by rail, the management of “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari” JSC changed the import agreement with “Kumush kuz fayzi” LLC, which made it possible to apply a 50 percent discount for transportation from Tashkent station to Yakkabog station. Based on this, “Kumush kuz fayzi” LLC applied to the Uztemiryolhisob center of “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari” JSC with all the documents, then the center returned 29,267,963 soums in favor of the business entity.
This made it possible for the entrepreneur who supplies our people with poultry meat and eggs to reduce the cost and increase the volume of production and, ultimately, reduce the price of the product.
