The Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the delay of Centrum Air\u2019s Istanbul\u2013Tashkent flight and has taken the matter under its supervision<\/b>
\nReports have circulated on social media stating that Centrum Air flight C6302 on the Istanbul\u2013Tashkent route was delayed by more than 3 hours, causing dissatisfaction among passengers.<\/i>
\nThe Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee is reviewing the circumstances of the case, including an appeal concerning whether passengers were provided with the necessary information and appropriate services during the flight delay, as well as whether consumer rights were duly ensured.<\/i><\/b>
\nIf violations of the law are identified as a result of the review, the Committee will take appropriate measures within the scope of its authority.<\/i><\/b>
\nWe inform citizens that they may contact the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee via its unified hotline <\/i>1159<\/i><\/b> regarding<\/i> cases of insufficient compliance with consumer rights in air transport services.<\/i><\/b>
\nAdditional information will be provided upon completion of the review.<\/i><\/p>\n

For information:<\/b> to date, the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee has received more than 270 appeals<\/i><\/b> concerning dissatisfaction with the services provided by \u201cCentrum Air\u201d and other airlines.
\nIn order to introduce amendments and additions to the applicable rules providing for a procedure for determining and paying monetary compensation to passengers in cases where, due to the fault of an airline, a flight departs later than the scheduled time and\/or the passenger is delivered to the destination with a delay<\/b>, the Committee has issued <\/b>relevant instructions<\/b><\/a> to the Ministry of Transport on several occasions<\/b>.
\nWork is currently ongoing to further improve legislation aimed at ensuring the protection of consumer rights.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
