During the meeting they reviewed the work experience, main functions and tasks of both parties in consumer protection and advertising market regulation.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the representatives of the the Directorate General for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Trade of Turkiye provided information on the Law of the Republic of Turkiye On consumer protection, the laws On regulation of electronic commerce and On regulation of retail trade and other legal documents and their contents.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, in order to establish cooperation relations, improve the institutional capacity building of employees, study normative legal documents and jointly strengthen consumer protection policy, it was agreed to accomplish relevant measures for signing a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of consumer protection policy between the Competition promotion and consumer protection committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkiye.<\/p>\n
