Matthias Wangler, the Head of the Representative Office of German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation in Uzbekistan, enlightened the audience about the organization&#8217;s activities. The Sparkassenstiftung bank, with over 50 million clients in Germany, is served by more than 300 thousand employees. Mr. Wangler also provided comprehensive information on how consumers should navigate challenges in the financial sector.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the Competition Committee received over 900 appeals from citizens concerning the financial sector, covering aspects such as banking services, contract issues, credit, and bank plastic cards. The Committee consistently organizes educational seminars and events to enhance the legal literacy of the population, with a particular focus on young people. This year, an online Olympiad titled &#8220;Financially Literate Young Consumer&#8221; was successfully conducted.<\/p>\n<p>The educational seminars covered crucial topics, including consumer rights, insurance, credit, savings, financial planning, personal finance formation and management, types of plastic cards, cybersecurity, and services offered by banks.
