Yesterday, information appeared on social networks that company \u201cYandex\u201d launched a taxi price tracking function in the Yandex Go application.\u00a0 The price tracking function launched in the Yandex Go application allows customer-users (passengers) to monitor level of demand and avoid traffic jams, better plan their trips.\u00a0 The Committee supports launch of this feature.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Competition Committee, in the meeting with representatives of \u201cYandex\u201d company, in connection with appeals given by drivers and customers, put forward requirements based on creation of opportunities indicated above (improving mechanism for setting tariffs for Yandex Go application services).<\/p>\n
Also during the meeting, the following additional requirements for consumer protection were presented to \u201cYandex\u201d company:<\/p>\n
– compliance with requirements of competition law and other legal acts;<\/p>\n
– further improvement of consumer protection;<\/p>\n
– establishing practice of insurance of passengers and drivers in order to ensure their safety;<\/p>\n
– further improvement of quality of services provided in system;<\/p>\n
– Creation of convenience for clients.<\/p>\n
In addition, the Competition Committee regularly holds analytical meetings with all organizations and issues relevant requirements and recommendations to ensure competition in the industry and protect consumer rights.<\/p>\n
