COMMISSION<\/h3>\n<p>On September 28-29, 2023 in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow, a working level meeting was held between representatives of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation Block of the Eurasian Economic Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The key goal of the event was to exchange experience of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Eurasian Economic Commission in terms of investigations conducted, including in digital markets.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Farrukh Karabaev made a presentation on changes in the competition legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, providing information on the creation of the Center for Digital Transformation and Outsourcing (FAIR TECH information system).<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the parties exchanged experience in ensuring control over reference prices for medicines in the Republic of seminar is organized within the framework of the project \u201cEnergy Regulatory Cooperation in Central Asia\u201d of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in cooperation with antitrust agencies of other countries.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2020, the Antimonopoly Committee has been participating in the World Bank&#8217;s Institutional capacity building project. Within the framework of the project, measures are taken to conduct competitive analysis in the product and financial markets, develop methodologies for antitrust legislation, organize training seminars and exchange experience with competition authorities of various countries.<\/p>\n<p>An agreement was reached with the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on long-term cooperation in the field of antitrust regulation and competition development and the implementation of the best practices of the UN member countries in the field of competition law.<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration is developing with representatives of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In particular, in February 2020, representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee participated in the OECD Open Competition Day in Paris, France, where they discussed the latest trends in antitrust law.<\/p>\n<p>Interaction with representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is also carried out on a regular basis.
